Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia – Transport (SIPA-T) Philippines Final Dissemination Event

On 24 April 2023, a modelling training session took place, gathering ITF project staff and technical experts from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and other relevant key stakeholders for a detailed presentation of freight transport modelling and scenario-building processes for the Philippines.

The main dissemination event was held on 25 April 2023. High-level speakers, including the ITF Secretary-General and Undersecretary of DoTr, delivered keynotes at the dissemination event. The main findings of the ITF project set the scene and guided political and technical dialogues for decarbonising future freight transport systems in the Philippines. In addition, several panel discussions and informal breaks promoted diverse interaction between project partners and local stakeholders.
