IIASA and RITE are co-organizing an expert workshop to further the interdisciplinary dialogue in conceptualizing, analyzing, policy making, and modeling of energy demand and its interlinkages to climate change mitigation and the SDGs.

The workshop builds on earlier cooperation between the two institutions that included the Low Energy Demand (LED) scenario and a demand workshop held in Nara, Japan in 2018.

Luis Martinez,Transport Analyst/Lead Modeller at ITF, presents methods and results of ITF work on modelling decarbornisation measures in the transport sector.
