The International Transport Forum (ITF) and Transport Canada invite all ITF member and observer countries to a webinar on “Transport and Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+)” on Wednesday 13 January 2021, from 15.00 to 16.30 CEST (via Zoom).
The webinar is an opportunity to learn about and discuss Transport Canada’s approach to GBA+. Transport Canada shares best practices, lessons learned, and challenges faced in implementing GBA+ across federal transport policies, programmes, and services. This webinar includes contributions from affiliated Government of Canada organisations, such as the Department for Women & Gender Equality, Infrastructure Canada, and Finance Canada.
The webinar provides an opportunity for member countries to share their experiences with similar gender and intersectional analysis tools. Discussion outputs will help the guide the ITF in developing the next phase of its gender related work, including a gender analysis toolkit for transport policies that will help member countries incorporate gender and diversity considerations into their transport policies, programmes and initiatives.
