Enhancing Connectivity in Central Asia

For the launch of a joint project of ITF and OECD on “Enhancing Connectivity in Central Asia”, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Investment and Development Zhenis Kassymbek (second from right) welcomed ITF’s Jari Kauppila (right), Grégory Lecomte (Project Manager, OECD Global Relations Secretariat, GRS) and William Tompson, Head of the GRS Eurasia Division (second from the left) in Astana on 31 January. Phase 1 of the project will focus on infrastructure and transport policies and is jointly implemented by the OECD and ITF. The Government of Kazakhstan is a key donor for the first phase.
