Managing Competing Sectoral Demands for Renewable Energy in the Transition to Sustainable Transport Roundtable

This Roundtable assesses the constraints on the transport sector arising from the potential scarcity of renewable energy supply over the coming decades. The project supports governments in long-term planning to decarbonise the transport sector, accounting for energy system constraints and supply bottlenecks, and facilitating international cooperation where appropriate. This workshop also investigates potential equity concerns given the regional differences in the availability of low-carbon energy supply and demand.
