UNFCCC Climate Dialogues 2020, ITF Special Event: Advancing the Goals of the Paris Agreement through Transport Actions
ITF Meeting
The objective of this event is to highlight the role of transport in mitigating the impact of climate change and to showcase effective measures that will help countries reduce carbon emissions. Specific tools that can help countries identify their priority areas, translate their decarbonisation ambitions into actions and achieve their climate objectives will also be presented. Countries’ priority areas could then be integrated into their NDCs where transport targets have already been defined or incorporate into their decarbonisation pathway.
