Decarbonising Transport in an Unprecedented Global Crisis

A virtual conference with focus on Argentina and Latin America

How can transport decarbonisation policies promote low-carbon economic growth and increased resilience of Argentina’s transport system following the Covid-19 crisis? The International Transport Forum cordially invites media representatives to this virtual conference around these important questions featuring nine sessions between 7 and 30 July.

The conference will kick off on Tuesday, 7 July, with a session on “Transport Decarbonisation, Economic Recovery and Resilience” featuring distinguished high-level speakers:

  • Mario Meoni, Argentina’s Minister of Transportation, 
  • Gloria Hutt Hesse,  Chile’s Minister of Transport and Telecommunication and,
  • Jochen Flasbarth, State Secretary in Germany’s  Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety,
  • Young Tae Kim, Secretary-General of the International Transport Forum
