Moscow selects TomTom for a Smarter City future

a global leader in navigation and mapping products, and the City of Moscow, has announced a cooperation agreement to design a road transportation programme fit for the future. The agreement will see an intelligent transportation programme developed with the goal of improving the overall situation across Moscow’s road network.

Moscow is already delivering a leading road network and recently won an Achievement Award from the International Transport Forum 2016 for its exemplary approach to improving traffic conditions in the Russian capital. Using data from TomTom’s Traffic Index, Moscow has gone from last place in 2013 to 5th place in this year’s ranking.
