Transport Day event at COP25. 13:45-15:15. Chilean Pavilion With the participation of Young Tae Kim (ITF Secretary-General) and Mary Crass (ITF Head of Institutional Relations and Summit). The transport sector needs more ambitious actions to help advance the goals of the Paris Agreement and to engage non-Parties stakeholders in the process. This event introduces the International Transport Forum’s Decarbonising Transport initiative, which was created in 2016 to help governments and industry translate climate ambitions into actions, and to highlight key outputs. Together with the Ministry of Environment in Chile and the Chilean Association of Power Generators, this event serves as a platform to foster an inclusive policy dialogue with key stakeholders and partners and to showcase national pathways and specific mitigation actions for transport, such as electro-mobility.
