IRENA Innovation Week 2020: Renewable solutions for transport and industry

ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim is a speaker in the high level closing session, "Way forward" on Thursday, 8 October from 14:00 - 16:00 (CEST) in the "Public private panel discussion".  

Supported by insights from IRENA’s analysis and work on the ground, informed by the experience of recent projects and drawing on the expertise of a diverse range of speakers and attendees, IRENA Innovation Week 2020 will explore the challenges and the emerging innovations in technology, business models and system operation that can support the decarbonisation of the end-use sectors.

ITF is an organising partner for the "Session 6: Transforming Transport: innovative renewable-based solutions in road freight, shipping and aviation" on Wednesday, 7 October from 16:00 - 20:00 (CEST). 
Jari Kauppila, ITF's Head of Quantitative Policy Analysis and Foresight, speaks in the "Opening and Scene-setting presentations", Jagoda Egeland, Advisor to ITF's Secretary-General, moderates Panel 2, "Decarbonising Aviation with Renewables" and Pierpaolo Cazzola, Advisor, Energy, Technology & Environmental Sustainability at the ITF, provides closing remarks.
