Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia – Transport (SIPA-T) Mongolia Final Dissemination Event

ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim lead a delegation of ITF experts to Mongolia for a dissemination event to conclude the project “Decarbonising Pathways for Urban Passenger Transport in Ulaanbaatar”. This event was ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim's first visit to Mongolia since Mongolia joined the ITF in May 2020.

The event was kicked off by high-level keynote speakers, including the Minister of Transport of Mongolia and ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim. Representatives from the Ministry, local government, the city of Ulaanbaatar, public agencies and international organisations came together to exchange on various topics related to the current state and future development of urban passenger mobility in Ulaanbaatar. The main findings of the ITF project set the scene and guided political and technical dialogues over the course of the event.
