Mission to Mongolia

ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim leads a delegation of ITF experts to Mongolia for a dissemination event to conclude the project “Decarbonising Pathways for Urban Passenger Transport in Ulaanbaatar”. This event is ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim's first visit to Mongolia since Mongolia joined the ITF in May 2020.

The event is kicked off by high-level keynote speakers, including the Minister of Transport of Mongolia and ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim. Representatives from the Ministry, local government, the city of Ulaanbaatar, public agencies and international organisations will come together to exchange on various topics related to the current state and future development of urban passenger mobility in Ulaanbaatar. The main findings of the ITF project will set the scene and guide political and technical dialogues over the course of the event.
