Transport and Covid-19: responses and resources

Policy Scenarios for Decarbonising Azerbaijan’s Transport System

ITF Meeting ITF Meeting

12:00-15:00 CET

This event presents different policy scenarios to decarbonise transport in Azerbaijan, assessed by the International Transport Forum and designed in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The event discusses implications for policymaking and the feasibility of implementing scenarios in a conversation among national and local stakeholders beyond the transport sector in Azerbaijan. It also facilitates exchange between local and national policymakers and explores how project outputs can help strengthen potential links between climate change targets, sustainable development goals, and the New Urban Agenda.

The event is part of the “Decarbonising Transport in Emerging Economies” project which forms part of the ITF's Decarbonising Transport initiative. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection.

Simultaneous translation for English and Azerbaijani is provided. The event, run on Zoom, is open to all registered participants.
