Third Annual International Transport Energy Modelling (iTEM3) Workshop
ITF Meeting
The Third Annual International Transport Energy Modeling (iTEM3) workshop was hosted by ITF on 26-27 October in Paris (photo). iTEM is an open group of modellers and organisations interested in understanding the transport and energy system. Its shared goal is to better understand the data and methods that are applied to study this system, specifically in the form of global models and through an interactive dialogue, to improve existing knowledge of the system, its evolution and policy and technology options. Topics discussed at the workshop included transport historical data and methods for projections, beyond 2 degrees and NDCs, electric vehicles and behaviour change, autonomous vehicles and shared mobility, as well as aviation and shipping emissions.
