Experts meet on decarbonising urban passenger transport
As part of ITF's Decarbonising Transport project to identify effective policies for CO2 reduction and evaluate the impact of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) on emissions, a group of over 35 international urban passenger transport experts are meeting in Paris, France to discuss the challenges of transport in cities. The group are set to examine policies including local pollutants, accessibility and access to jobs and services in the context of CO2 reductions. Results of discussions will feed into ITF's modelling work on urban mobility and inform the decarbonising scenarios that ITF is building.
