Motorways tolls (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Tolls for vehicles of class III are listed here. They refer to vehicles with two or three axles and height measured on the first axle that exceeds 1.3 m (light delivery vehicles with carrying capacity over 850 kg with caravan, trucks with or without a trailer, with two or three axles, caravans with the eight that exceeds 1.3 m on the first axle, vans with trailer or caravan with three axles, buses without trailer with two or three axles, vehicles of maximum permissible mass over 3500 kg, vehicles with more than 9 seats)

They refer to vehicles with four or more axles and height measured on the first axle that exceeds 1.3 m (trucks with or without a trailer with four or more axles, road tractors coupled to a semi-trailer, buses with or without a trailer with four or more axles, vans with trailer or caravan with four or more axles, vehicles of maximum permissible mass over 3500 kg, vehicles with more than 9 seats)

It is calculated in accordance with the following formula ON * K, where ON is the basic fee of 30 BAM / 15.31 € and K is the correction coefficient. For the values of K please refer to the table here.

The service “Assistance-information” provides technical assistance for motorised road users on public roads, removal of damaged and broken vehicles from public roads, information on the state of road traffic and other assistance. The charge for this service is 8 BAM / 4.08 € and is levied on the registration of lorries.

Excessive weight charge (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina)

1) For exceeding the maximum allowable length, the charge is:

    - from 18.75 m to 20 m: 0.20 BAM / 0.10 € per km

    - more than 20 m: 0.40 BAM / 0.20 € per km

2) For exceeding the maximum allowable width, the charge is:

    - from 2.6 m to 3 m: 0.20 BAM / 0.10 € per km

    - from 3 m to 4 m: 0.40 BAM / 0.20 € per km

    - more than 4 m: 0.60 BAM / 0.31 € per km

3) For exceeding the maximum allowable height, the charge is:

    - from 4 m to 4.5 m: 0.20 BAM / 0.10 € per km

    - more than 4.5 m: 0.40 BAM / 0.20 € per km

4) For exceeding the maximum allowable mass in non-scheduled transport, the charge is:

    - up to 60 t: 0.40 BAM / 0.20 € per km for each exceeded ton

    - from 60 t to 80 t: 1.40 BAM / 0.71 € per km for each exceeded ton

    - more than 80 t: 2.50 BAM / 1.28 € per km for each exceeded ton

Note: values ended below 0.5 t are calculated into lower value and values ended above 0.5 t are calculated into greater value.

5) Calculation of charge for exceeding maximum allowable axle weight of multiple axles is performed in the way that allowed axle weight is deducted from actual total weight of multiple axles. Such value is divided by the number of axles. The result corresponds to the amount of charge for such exceed in tons in the table of charges for exceeding the maximum allowable weight (for single axles). Such value is multiplied by the coefficient 1.375 for twin axle, 1.657 for triple axle and 1.892 for four or multiple axles.

For each ton above 20 tons, 5.0 BAM / 2.55 € per ton is added.

Note: values ended below 0.5 t are calculated into lower value and values ended above 0.5 t are calculated into greater value.

When non-scheduled transport exceeds both allowable axle weight and allowable total mass, the charge is calculated for one of those two exceeding that dominates.

When non-scheduled transport exceeds both allowed dimensions and allowed weight, the charge is calculated cumulatively for all exceeding.

The charge for the approval is 100 BAM / 51.02 €. The charge for the approval of a big number of the same non-scheduled transport service is 30% bigger.

Costs for the inspection of the vehicle that is control surveillance of non-scheduled transport before the start of the service is 40 BAM/ 20.41 € per hour, including the time and costs for travel to/from the site.

Costs for the inspection of dimensions, total mass and axle weight, which includes costs for experts and additional staff that perform inspection as well as costs of scales and their transport, is 500 BAM / 255.10 € per scaled vehicle.

Costs for the inspection of dimensions without scaling is 100 BAM / 51.02 € per vehicle.
